That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.
Meet the Austin Team Behind Kestrel Air Duct Austin
Kestrel Air Duct Austin has been cleaning ducts and dryer vents across the Austin metro since 2004, and the people who show up at your door are the reason the phone keeps ringing. We’re a small, local crew that answers to Dale Whitmore, the owner, and we operate under one written standard: the Kingswell Guarantee. That means a written price before work begins, a defined arrival window, a clean job site, and a written guarantee on every single job. No exceptions, no fine print, no “that was the other guy.” Just the same four promises, kept by the same team, visit after visit.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Marcus T. – Lead Technician
Marcus has been running duct cleaning jobs in the Austin area for 11 years, the last six of them with Kestrel. He’s our Rotobrush specialist, the guy who knows exactly how much brush agitation a flex-duct run can take before it’s time to switch to a gentler pass. Before this, Marcus worked residential HVAC installs, which is why he can read a trunk line layout the way most people read a street map. He’s also our go-to for the tough dryer vent runs, the ones where the builder ran 40 feet of rigid pipe with three elbows and called it good. Off the clock, Marcus rebuilds vintage Honda motorcycles and has strong opinions about breakfast tacos.
Lena R. – Senior Installer and Vent Specialist
Lena joined Kestrel Air Duct Austin after five years in commercial air balancing, which gives her an eye for airflow problems most residential techs miss. She handles our dryer vent cleaning and re-routing work, and she’s the one who will tell you, bluntly and politely, that your lint trap bypass setup is why the dryer takes two cycles to finish a load. Lena is certified on our Nikro negative-pressure units and runs the HEPA filtration setup on every job so loosened debris never drifts back into your living room. In her spare time she coaches youth soccer and swears by the cedar pollen forecast as a planning tool. It comes up more than you’d think.
Sam D. – Service Coordinator
Sam is the voice on the other end of the line when you call (254) 848-6913, and he’s been answering that phone for Kestrel Air Duct Austin for four years. He knows the schedule, the service area, and how long a typical two-story Austin home takes to clean, which means the arrival window he gives you is one we can actually hit. Sam is also the keeper of the paperwork, which matters more than it sounds: every written quote, every guarantee, and every 365-Day Done Right Promise goes through his hands before it reaches yours. When he’s not at the office, Sam restores mid-century furniture and claims it’s cheaper than therapy.
Aiden P. – Apprentice Technician
Aiden started with us in 2023 as a trainee and has already logged over 400 supervised cleaning hours. He works alongside Marcus on most jobs, learning the Rotobrush technique at the duct wall and the correct way to seal an access point when the job is done. Aiden is our Abatement Technologies HEPA filter wrangler, which means he’s the one setting up containment and checking airflow at the register before and after cleaning. He grew up in the Austin suburbs and knows the local housing stock well, especially the 1990s builds where duct sealing was, let’s say, optimistic. Outside work, Aiden is a disc golf enthusiast and an occasionally successful brisket smoker.
One Standard, Every Job
Every member of this crew, from Marcus on the Rotobrush to Dale Whitmore reviewing the final walkthrough, works under the same set of expectations. We call it The Kingswell Way, and it’s not a slogan hanging on a wall. It’s a code we operate by: say the price before work begins, show up in the window we gave you, leave the place cleaner than we found it, put the guarantee in writing, and come back if the work fails within the guarantee period. That last part is real. The 365-Day Done Right Promise means if something falls short within a year, we return and make it right at no charge. Not as a courtesy, but because it’s written on the paperwork you signed.
Background-checked and uniformed, every tech who steps into your home carries the same professional-grade equipment: Rotobrush rotary brush systems, Nikro negative-pressure units, and Abatement Technologies HEPA filtration. No shop vacs, no shortcuts. Whether it’s a full air duct cleaning or a dryer vent service, the standard doesn’t move. The team changes only in who’s holding the brush that day.
